"If you have come here to help me, you are wasting your time. But if you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together."

A Space to Foster Collective Liberation

Racism, white supremacy, and colonialism hurt all of us- even those who benefit from these systems. The Decolonial Dialogues are a space for folks to come together to discuss critical issues of dismantling colonialism and oppression with a focus on becoming disruptors and co-conspirators in this important work. This is not a lecture where a speaker tells you what to do. This is a space for critical exploration as a collective and our sessions will be active!

The Purposes:

  • To engage in dialogue on critical history and current events which illuminate oppression, racism, and dehumanization with a focus on the genocide in Gaza.
  • To build an accountability community to foster discomfort with the status quo and engage in disruption and co-conspiratorship of power.

Core Tenants of our Community:

  • We are grounded in a commitment to antiracism
  • We are open to all ideas and are always aligned with our purpose of disrupting inequity for collective liberation.
  • We push each other to and through discomfort so that we can all grow.
  • We are a non-hierarchical community; we all come as experts in our own experience and are treated as such.
